Whats New with My Mazda?
Alot of new pics added 1/15/03.
The auto trans - 5 speed swap is 95% complete. the mtx ecu doesnt work in this application. the auto pcm will have to be used with provisions to the harness and wiring. as of now the car needs some wiring done to the shift lock circuit ;-)
1/17/03..
car is up and running with the 5 speed in it. act clutch pedal pressure seems a bit excessive. but not too hard. takes some getting used to. i will try to adjust the slave cylinder push rod later on.
turns out that the inhibitor switch had to be removed and the clutch switch had to be installed in its place. cant wait to see what the turbo kit does!!
6/16/03...
Well, it turns out i may have blown my engine!?...not too happy today, got up to go to my 8 am class, decided i would take the mx and while shifting into 3rd gear lost all power and coasted to the side of the road. huge oil spot under the car. Now the mx is sitting in my driveway....thats the updates so far, before this happening, the car ran awsome, so much faster and alot mor fun to drive. also got alot of looks and people talking about the "little teal car thats turboed".
